Selestial R is a ballerina in horse form. She is an elegant, beautiful horse with very light footed and airy movement. She has a quick hind leg with great ability to sit and carry as well. She has three super gaits, and she shows great aptitude for both collection and extension. She has phenomenal trot work, already showing incredible talent for piaffe and passage along with super extensions. She is flexible in her lateral work, and shows that half passes will be a real highlight for her. She has large, straight changes and great balance, already showing that canter pirouettes will be another real highlight for her. She is an incredibly kind horse that has the right sensitivity and rideability to become a star.

Selestial R has had a phenomenal show record thus far. In 2016, she was ranked #3 in USDF Horse of the Year rankings at Third Level with a median over 74%. In 2015, she was USDF Horse of the Year at First Level with a median over 77%. In 2016, she was ranked #3 in USDF Horse of the Year rankings at Third Level with a median over 74%. She consistently scores 8s or 9s on her gaits, and has scored several 10s from FEI 5* judges. The goal for 2017 is to continue building her strength and confidence, dabbling possibly with Prix St Georges by the end of the season, as she will only be 7 years old. The goal is to have her at Grand Prix no later than 2019 so that she can gain some experience and confidence at that level before the Olympic selection process in 2020. She will be 10 years in 2020, so just coming into her own as a Grand Prix horse, and that leaves the potential for a second Olympics at the top of her athleticism too, as a 14 year old horse in 2024.
